EAU DE PARFUM
Light wakes on the lake,
morning energy,
dewdrops on your bare feet.
The ceremony of spring
between water and sky.
Floating soft petals,
sunny lazy afternoons
sitting on the border of a pool.
Soaking legs and drinking frozen cocktails
the long hot summer just passed me by.
Suntanned forearms
turn the motorboat steering wheel,
while wind ruffles the hairs.
Beyond splashes, water ski acrobatics wavy lines.
Slivers of bark, dried leaves and peels,
berries and winter fruit.
The dance of fauns,
from deep inside the ground,
arises a rough woody scent.
Lying down on a lawn
feeling small in the immensity of the world
a green accord in the nose,
a flock of butterflies passes by
while moving fluffy clouds reveal gashes of blue sky.
End summer dusks,
birds at flight,
shortening days
when Osmanthus blooms.
Osmanthus Fragrans, Mentha Citrata,
Camellia Soliflor, Calycanthus Brumae,
Verbena Absoluta.
